The Ministry of Textiles (MoT) on October 16, 2026, notified the Final Fixation of Maximum Ex-Factory Prices for Type-A and Type-B B-Twill Jute Bags for September 2026.
The Jute Commissioner has finally fixed the maximum ex-factory price for Type-A and Type-B B-Twill sacking jute bags weighing 580 grams, under Clause 3(6) of the Jute and Jute Textiles Control Order, 2016. The bags, measuring 94 cm × 57 cm and conforming to BIS Specification IS 16186:2014, are to be purchased or sold during September 2026. Each bag shall carry the prescribed emblem, the manufacturing mill’s name and BIS certification marking, and meet the specified minimum breaking-strength requirements. The fixed prices are exclusive of GST, which shall be paid by the purchaser in addition to the ex-factory price.
